I am apparently number 3! My dad was a professional firefighter, my stepdad works with a volunteer rescue squad, and I will soon become the primary firefighter onboard JSTARS. I found out today the ART (airborne radar technician) is just that. We practiced emergency procedures including donning firefighters’ masks and utilizing hand-held oxygen bottles. Pretty cool to know I’m already a natural at saving people.
