What a blessing and a wonderful weekend. Tonight we took her to the train station in Atlanta, and stopped along the way to have dinner at the first ever Chic-fil-a, also known as <a target="_blank" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chick-fil-A#Dwarf_House">The Dwarf House</a>. I stumbled across this place with my college roommate in 2006 and it was just as weird and fun as I remembered. These are pictures taken inside the plane, and the consoles with the computer monitors in them are what I work with. My dad was a professional firefighter, my stepdad works with a volunteer rescue squad, and I will soon become the primary firefighter onboard JSTARS. I found out today the ART (airborne radar technician) is just that. We practiced emergency procedures including donning firefighters’ masks and utilizing hand-held oxygen bottles.
